About Me

I’m a General Paediatrician with a strong connection to the Nepean Blue Mountains region. My passion is helping children thrive by providing quality, compassionate care and ensuring families can access the best paediatric services.

I love working with children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers and take a holistic approach to their health and well-being. Every child deserves a safe, nurturing environment to grow and reach their full potential.

When I’m not working, you’ll often find me in the garden or behind a camera, capturing the beauty of the world through photography.

My Journey in Medicine

I completed my medical degree at the University of Sydney and trained in paediatrics at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, part of the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network. Over the years, I’ve worked in a variety of paediatric settings, gaining experience in:

• General Paediatrics – Caring for children with both common and complex medical conditions.
• Psychological Medicine – Supporting children’s emotional and mental well-being.
• Oncology & Cardiology – Managing serious medical conditions with a compassionate approach.
• Child Protection – Ensuring the safety and welfare of vulnerable children.

I’ve worked in hospitals across Sydney and in regional areas like Lismore Base Hospital, looking after newborns, children, and adolescents with various health concerns.

I am a Visiting Medical Officer at Hawkesbury District Hospital, where I continue caring for young patients and supporting families in their health journeys.

Teaching & Research

I’ve contributed to studies on unplanned paediatric readmissions, helping improve how we care for children in hospital settings.

As a Clinical Associate Lecturer with Sydney Medical School, I enjoy mentoring and training future doctors, ensuring that paediatric care continues to improve for years to come.
